- Let's all wear mood rings!
Okay. Well, I have to admit that I giggled like a little school-girl when I got my first follower. ha! Silly as hell but I don't give a damn.
Watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Chase fell asleep 2/3 of the way through it. Will be doing his 3rd dialysis treatment on the cycler tonight and cardiac rehab tomorrow morning. Should probably get him off the couch and in bed then get started on some laundry.
Also, thinking about holding a contest or something like that. The goal for now is to have enough followers to make the contest fair. Once that's said and done, I'll find some really cool something or another then work on the actual rules and requirements. So pass the word around!
Ooh! I found a recipe for butterbeer! Watching HP made me wonder if it's real and what it would take to make it. So here's my first recipe to share. Testing begins soon and reviews to follow soon after.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (8 oz) club soda or cream soda
- ½ cup (4 oz) butterscotch syrup (ice cream topping)
- ½ tablespoon butter
Step 1: Measure butterscotch and butter into a 2 cup (16 oz) glass. Microwave on high for 1 to 1½ minutes, or until syrup is bubbly and butter is completely incorporated.
Step 2: Stir and cool for 30 seconds, then slowly mix in club soda. Mixture will fizz quite a bit.
Step 3: Serve in two coffee mugs or small glasses; a perfectly warm Hogwarts treat for two!
